“A year prior I underwent an emergency quadruple bypass surgery which was a life-changing event, to say the least. After my recovery and out-patient cardiac rehabilitation, the natural next step was to take on a personal trainer again, and working with Sara couldn’t have been a better choice. She was able to put together for me a comprehensive, cardiac-conscious, and ever-expanding fitness routine focusing on weight lifting and flexibility, as well as terrific dietary and nutritional insights which I’ve taken to heart (pun intended!).

“I first met Sara Goldman when I was a member at Equinox on Union Street in San Francisco. She was a trainer there and I would often be working out at the same time that she was training clients. She always had a kind and welcoming spirit to all members that she crossed paths with. I never trained with her at Equinox but throughout my time there, I had a few injuries and was in a car accident. She could tell that I was going through some challenges physically and, even though I was not a paying client, she made a point to ask me how I was doing and offer guidance.

Fast forward to 2020! In the midst of a pandemic and some personal challenges, I happened to bump into Sara in Laurel Heights with one of my good friends, who also knew Sara from the Equinox.  At that point Equinox had been closed for a few months and we enjoyed seeing a familiar face from the gym! We chatted for a bit and Sara had mentioned that she was training clients in the Presidio. Knowing that the last few months had been a bit rocky and recognizing the serendipitous nature of seeing her, I decided to get her number and reached out later that afternoon.
